Joining as a new patient
Before you visit us for the first time, you’ll be asked to complete a simple online form that will help us to understand more about you and your health. This helps us to determine the ways that we might be able to help you ahead of your first appointment.
Your Initial Consultation
If chiropractic isn’t suitable for you, you will be referred to your GP or to a relevant specialist.
All of your details are kept confidential.
Customised for every patient, it will involve orthopaedic, neurological and physical tests.
We will also assess your posture and range of movement.
We’ll be able to provide clear information on your case, how we can help you and what treatment plan we would recommend.
If the complaint appears to need further examination, we can refer you to your GP.
Treatment and Self Care
After your first treatment, use of a Biofreeze gel will aid with your recovery and you’ll get ice therapy tips.
We’ll confirm your treatment plan and give you advice on home exercises as part of continuous improvement.
What to expect in your treatment plan
After your initial consultation and first treatment, you will be provided with a treatment plan. Within follow up appointments at our clinic, most patients will access:
Care for children and pregnancy
Children: Chiropractic is suitable for babies and children. We use light finger tip pressure which is gentle and causes no pain.
Pregnant Women: Growing a baby is an important job and we offer care for mums wanting to keep the aches and pains at bay caused by carrying the additional weight of a baby. We have a special pregnancy pillow that helps us treat pregnant patients.
Don't just take our word for it, see what our patients say...
“Great people who look after me on a routine basis and when I need something to be fixed. On-going support and home exercises with stretches, hints and tips. I know if I need help or advice they will support me.”
“I have been seeing Lucy regularly for years and her treatments have enabled me to continue to do horse riding and the things I love.
Without her help the ongoing complex issues would mean I would have to give up, for which I am forever grateful. She always takes it in her stride when I reel off the issues but always gets me to a point where I can carry on. Thank you.”
“Absolutely first class service. All the staff are extremely friendly and make it a pleasure to visit.”
“Amazing place to go, affordable and the staff are really friendly.”
